These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with Woodstocks Firewood Merchants Ltd (“Woodstocks”, “we”, “us”) through woodstocks.co.nz or by phone. By placing an order you accept these terms.
Pricing & GST
All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. A GST invoice/receipt is issued with every order. Prices are subject to change without notice; the price at the time you place your order applies. Firewood is subject to availability, particularly in peak winter.
Measures
Loose firewood is sold as a thrown measure — loose volume as thrown into the truck, not hand-stacked. This is the standard way loose firewood is sold in New Zealand. One traditional cord equals 3.65 cubic metres thrown. Load sizes of 3, 6 and 9 m³ refer to thrown volume.
Payment
- Card — paid securely online at checkout.
- Bank transfer — funds must clear in our account before delivery. Use your order number as the payment reference.
- Cash on delivery — payment is required in full when your load arrives.
Delivery
We deliver throughout Hawke’s Bay only — see delivery areas & charges. Delivery charges are added at checkout based on your postcode. Loads are tipped or thrown at your property; please nominate a spot with good truck access. If our driver can’t safely access the delivery point, we’ll contact you to arrange an alternative. We are delivery only — no yard pickup.
Cancellations, returns & refunds
You may cancel or change an order free of charge any time before it’s loaded for delivery — call 0800 966 378. Our full policy, including remedies for wet wood or short measure, is on the returns & refunds page. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
WINZ quotes
WINZ quotes are supplied free and are valid for 30 days. Delivery follows once payment is confirmed by Work & Income or by you.
