Woodstocks Firewood Merchants Ltd (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Orders — your name, delivery address, phone number, email and order details, so we can deliver your firewood and issue GST invoices.
- Accounts — if you create an account, your login details and order history.
- Forms — details you submit through our contact, WINZ quote or newsletter forms.
How we use it
We use your information to process and deliver orders, prepare WINZ quotes, respond to enquiries, and — only if you’ve signed up — send occasional specials and seasonal reminders. We never sell your information.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe; your card details go directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection and are never stored on our servers. Bank transfer details are visible only to our banking staff.
Third-party services
We use trusted service providers to run this site: our web host (site and database), Stripe (payments) and our forms/CRM provider (enquiries and newsletter). Each only receives the information needed to do its job.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the shop to work (like keeping items in your cart). We don’t use advertising cookies.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email orders@woodstocks.co.nz or call 0800 966 378 and we’ll sort it promptly.
