How delivery works
- Firewood is sold as a thrown measure — loose, as thrown into the truck. It’s the standard New Zealand way to measure loose firewood. 1 cord = 3.65 m³ thrown.
- We tip or throw the load at your place — pick a spot with good truck access. Stacking into your shed is up to you.
- Delivery only. For health and safety reasons we don’t allow yard pickup.
- Payment is required on or before delivery. A GST invoice/receipt is issued with every order.
- Firewood is subject to availability; we’ll call to arrange a delivery day that suits.
How much should I order?
As a rule of thumb for a Hawke’s Bay winter: 1–2 fires a week needs about one cord (3.65 m³) a season — our 3 m³ load is close. 2–3 fires a week needs about two cords — order 6 m³. 4–5 fires a week needs about three cords — order 9 m³ and you’re set.
