How much firewood do I need for a season?
As a rule of thumb: 1–2 fires a week needs about 3–4 m³ a season, 2–3 fires a week about 7 m³, and 4–5 fires a week about 11 m³. Our 3, 6 and 9 m³ loads map to light, regular and heavy use.
What is a thrown measure?
Firewood is sold loose, as thrown into the truck — not hand-stacked. It’s the standard way firewood is measured in New Zealand. 1 old-fashioned cord equals 3.65 m³ thrown.

Throughout Hawke’s Bay — Napier and Hastings from $40, wider Hawke’s Bay from $80. Delivery only; for health and safety reasons we don’t allow yard pickup.
